I have been blessed to serve in this awesome congregation of Prairie Lutheran Church since 1996. I have a passion for teaching and preaching and love to help people encounter the living Lord, Jesus Christ
PLC is a dynamic congregation that is willing to take risks and try new ideas in order to reach people for Jesus. I have incredible freedom to dream and create, to teach and serve with amazingly faithful and committed people.
I dream of PLC becoming a seminary of the 21st century where disciples are equipped to be salt, light, and leaven in the world. The unstoppable love of Jesus transforms lives. I hope to see more and more lives at PLC changed by the power of Jesus' love.
Also, those who know me know that I LOVE coffee and spend lots of time at my office away from the church...Starbucks. I also love long distance running, travel, and meet new people. I graduated from Luther Seminary and was ordained in 1986. My beautiful wife Sarah and I enjoy our three children, Christian and his wife Jen, Johan, and Stephan, and two wonderful grandchildren; Ava and Caden.
I began serving the wonderful people of Prairie Lutheran Church in 2019. This community of faith walks with Jesus Christ in service and love as together we proclaim the good news to our neighbors locally and globally.
I arrived at PLC from the western shores of Lake Michigan where I served congregations in the greater Milwaukee area. I graduated from Luther Seminary in 2015 and Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2011. I was born and raised in the small, Norwegian town of Westby, Wisconsin – so despite years of education in Minnesota I am still a proud Cheesehead.
I enjoy uncovering the myriad of ways the Holy Spirit is active in the world. Sometimes the simplest of acts and most ordinary of moments produce miracles beyond belief – signs of Jesus Christ present in the world around us.
I love writing, playing piano, and the smell of coffee in the morning. My wife, Katie, and I have one daughter, Hazel Grace. Together we share our home in Eden Prairie with three wild creatures: Our dogs, Lacy and Kirby, and our cat, Zeus.
Director of Worship Arts
I am blessed to have begun working for Prairie Lutheran Church in 2019. My mission is to unveil scriptural truth through art. I have led music at church worship services since 2013, and got my start with worship ministry in 2008 in my high school youth group.
I received my BA in Music from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point in 2015. I have served in many musical leadership roles, including directing 15+ musical productions, performing for 60+ weddings, performing in 25+ musical theater/opera productions, and 5+ years of private music lesson instruction.
I love to learn new musical instruments, compose musicals for young performers, meditate and pray, do yoga, drink coffee, and spend quality time with my wife Allycia and our two cats.

Director of Congregational Life
As the Director of Congregational Life, I am blessed to serve you and God at Prairie Lutheran Church. I work as the primary contact for adult ministries (education, serving and missions), as well as supervising the Children’s and Youth Ministry, in addition to leading various special projects. I have spent over 25 years working in various Christian ministries with 20+ of those years in congregational ministry, mostly in Christian Education and children and youth ministry.
I have spent most of my life in and around the Twin Cities. I was raised in the northwest suburbs, graduated from Augsburg College and currently live in Champlin with my husband. We have one grown, married daughter who lives in the Boston area with her husband. I love international travel, especially to my favorite places including San Lucas Tolimán, Guatemala, where my family sponsors three young people, and Europe, where I got to live with my family when I was 10 years old.
Director of Youth Ministry
Director of Children’s Ministry
I am so blessed to be on staff as the Director of Children’s Ministry at Prairie Lutheran. God has put in my heart a love for His Word, His Son, and a love for children, so to combine those passions and turn it into a job is such an amazing blessing. My desire is that families grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18), and I feel it is my job is to encourage and equip parents and kids in that growth process.
My family and I have been members of Prairie Lutheran since 2001 and hold the priviledge + responsibility of 'making Christ known' very dear to our hearts. My husband, three kids, and I live in Shakopee. My family and I love baseball, movies, music, games and laughing and being silly – all while growing and learning how to be the brightest lights for Christ we can be.
I absolutely love working with people I admire, alongside parents and kids I adore, for a church I love, and serving a God who is amazing.
Director of Business Operations
It's an honor to be a part of the PLC staff where I serve as Director of Business Operations. I came to know PLC through a contract role in 2015 and now am happy to be part of this dynamic and hard working team. My role encompasses a number of areas, but I see my role primarily as supporting the ministry teams in whatever way possible and keeping the Council informed of the business affairs of the church. I'm grateful for the opportunity.
Before returning to PLC I spent 18 years in finance positions at Cargill and most recently ventured into business ownership, opening and continuing to actively manage the Music Go Round located in Minnetonka. My wife Rebecca and I have two children, Anna and William, both enrolled in Chaska schools where we live.
I am the Office Manager at PLC. I'm thrilled to be a part of this wonderful team of people here. I love the Lord and enjoy helping people. As Office Manager, I look forward to combining both of these passions to serve this community.
I live in Richfield. I have two adult children. I love dancing and have taught children dance for over twenty five years. I also enjoy reading, sewing, crafting and listening to music.
I am the Web Designer for PLC. I started with PLC as the Office Coordinator, a position I truly enjoyed. With the birth of our son, my husband Brad and I decided I would work part time. I have been doing web and graphic design for PLC ever since!
I graduated from Iowa State University with a BFA in Graphic Design. Started my career at a small book publishing house then spent a few years each working for the design groups within ConAgra Foods and Schawk Digital Solutions.
I am blessed to be a part of PLC. I hope that my communication and design skills can help keep people informed about all of the wonderful things happening at Prairie Lutheran Church!
