Prairie Youth share their gifts in many ways, including as leaders for our younger kids. We encourage youth to help teach Sunday School, or volunteer in other ways that support our life together.
From September-May following worship, youth in 5-8th grade gather for Coffee Hour. We share the highs and lows of our life, drink coffee (or hot chocolate!), eat donuts, and think about how our faith connects to our daily life. High School students are welcome to sit in and share their thoughts, too!
Confirmation is a ministry for 6th-9th grade students, meeting on Wednesday evenings from September through May, 6:30-7:30p.m. It’s an opportunity to spend intentional time in community while learning, developing faith habits, asking questions, and connecting faith and life.
Each summer, we take High Schoolers on a trip of some kind—a service trip, a learning trip, or an outdoor adventure trip. Stay tuned for information about our Summer 2026 trip!
