England & Normandy: Inspiration & Liberation, October 7 - 16, 2019
This year you will have an opportunity to travel to one of the places where the Gospel was literally translated into our mother language: England! This fall I will be leading a tour called, England & Normandy; Inspiration & Liberation. October 7 - 16, 2019. It will be a ten day all inclusive tour using the expertise of Imagine Tour and Travels for our travel arrangements.
Soon after Martin Luther started the Reformation it spread like wild fire throughout Europe. My goal is to retrace the footsteps of faith of some of the giants who brought the Gospel across the English Channel. One of our highlights will be a visit to the home of CS Lewis in Oxford and stand at the desk where he wrote the Narnia Chronicles! We will also visit the iconic sites of Westminster Abbey, the Parliament, Stonehenge and more. Then we will cross the English Channel and visit the significant sites of the Normandy Beaches of WWII fame. The liberation of this coast was one of the greatest events in history and the ground is holy.
Along the way we will sample the fare and flavors of the countryside. I will be hosting a class on the history of England this spring for all registered participants. We will also host a pre-trip gathering at our home in May.
